Obituary for Helen Lorene Schmitz (Arnold)
Helen Schmitz died Monday, April 24, 2017 in Lubbock. She was born March 8, 1925 in Spur, Texas to Lonnie and Dana (Ragsdale) Arnold. She married Earl Schmitz in Lubbock, Texas on November 13, 1943.
Helen had lived in Muleshoe since 1932. She was very active with the Oneita Wagnon Senior Citizens Center and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 2007 and her brother, Neil Ray Arnold.
Helen is survived by her two daughters, Anita Black of Muleshoe, Texas and Judy Wilbanks, and her husband, Paul of Lubbock, Texas; her three sisters, June Arnold of Muleshoe, Texas, Mary Moore of Muleshoe, Texas and Beverly Hall of Hub Texas; four grandchildren, Wade Wilson, Denise Wilson, Melissa Puckett and Shea Hope; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
