Obituary for Wilma Sandlin (Stoll)

Wilma  Sandlin (Stoll)
Wilma Lucille (Stoll) Sandlin died Monday, May 29, 2017 in Muleshoe. She was born May 23, 1932 in Walnut, Kansas to Charles Lewis and Elsie Mae (Hatchell) Stoll. She married Earl Addison Sandlin in Denver, Colorado in 1952.

Wilma was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church, and an active member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She loved her children and treasured time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking and was an avid quilter and genealogist. Wilma was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Lariat. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents; one daughter, Lisa Cofty; one son, Earl L. Sandlin; and one sister, Betty Graham.

Wilma is survived by her two sons, Erwin Sandlin and his wife, Debbie of Warren, Texas and Eddie Sandlin and his wife, Jennalee of Elgin, Texas; her daughter, Tina Symm and her husband, David of Lariat, Texas; her four sisters, LaVonne Kmiec of Girard, Kansas, Joyce Hayward of McCune, Kansas, Patty Good of Schertz, Texas and Janet Myers of Girard, Kansas; eighteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, LWML, 725 CR DD, Farwell, Texas, 79325.
