Clifford Mills died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Morton. He was born June 30, 1943 in Artesia, New Mexico to John C. and Lena (Harrison) Mills.

Clifford served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved watching drag racing, and enjoyed fishing. He was very patriotic and always flew a flag at his residence. He was also a big Texas Ranger fan. Clifford is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Brenda K. Mills; and a brother, Burnie Wayne Mills.

Clifford is survived by his two sons, Dewayne Mills of Bladenboro, North Carolina and Jim Sides and his wife, Donna of Hawley, Texas; his three daughters, Christy Hubbard and her husband, Billy of Lubbock, Texas, Regina Poole of Bladenboro, North Carolina and Amy Baxley of Bladenboro, North Carolina; his four sisters, Johnnie Pittman of Arkansas, Lena Mae Proctor of Levelland, Texas, his twin sister, Claudia Brown of Morton, Texas and Judy Mills of Shallowater, Texas; his brother, Billy Joe Mills of Brownwood, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
