Obituary for Ofelia T. Hinojos (Tarango)
Ofelia T. Hinojos died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born March 21, 1937 in Presidio County, Texas to Juan and Luisa (Olivas) Tarango. She married Casimiro Hinojos in 1959.
Ofelia loved to sew and work in her garden. She loved her family and was a strong Christian woman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Casimiro and her parents.
Ofelia is survived by her three sons; Arthur Hinojos of Morton, Texas, Johnny Hinojos of Morton, Texas and Ruben Hinojos of Friona, Texas; one daughter, Grace Benavides of Morton, Texas; two sisters, Elvira Tarango of Smyer, Texas and Blasa Osoria of Morton, Texas; one brother, Jose Luz Tarango of Hereford, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Brian Lee Benavides, Eliseo Ramon and Kayla Marrufo; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jocelhyn Marrufo, and Jazmin Marrufo.
