Dallas died May 29, 2015 in Bailey County. He was born April 8, 1994 in Clovis, New Mexico to Brandon and Valerie (Bruggeman) Cox.

Dallas was a lifetime member of the Lazbuddie community. He loved playing football. He even went to Australia his senior year to play football. He was also involved in power lifting and track. Dallas was active in FFA and stock showing. His son, Carter, was his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Dallas was a member of the Lazbuddy Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Betty Richards and an uncle, Randy Ball.

Survivors include, his son, Carter Lynn Cox of Springtown, Texas; his parents, Brandon and Valerie Cox of Lazbuddie, Texas; his grandparents, Lynn and Sharon Cox of Lazbuddie, Texas; two sisters, Leslee Brown and her husband, Brandon of Portales, New Mexico and Shelby Shields and her husband, Tyler of Friona, Texas; two brothers, Houston Cox of Lazbuddie, Texas and Josh Cox of Lazbuddie, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and family members.
